Digital mucous cysts(کیست مخاطی دیجیتال) نوعی گانگلیون هستند که اغلب روی دست دیده می‌شوند. Ganglion(گانگلیون) یک تومور بافت نرم است که در کنار مفصل یا تاندون یافت می‌شود. Digital mucous cyst(کیست مخاطی دیجیتال) به طور خاص از پشت مفصل بین فالانژیال دیستال (مفصل DIP) ایجاد می‌شود. این کیست‌ها اغلب با استئوآرتریت مفصل DIP زیرین همراه هستند.
Digital mucous cysts are a type of ganglion commonly found on the hand. A ganglion is a soft tissue tumor that is found next to a joint or tendon. A digital mucous cyst is a ganglion that arises from the dorsum of the distal interphalangeal joint (DIP joint). Digital mucous cysts commonly have an association with underlying DIP joint osteoarthritis.
